10” Live Edge American Elm

This bowl was crafted from a salvaged piece of American Elm.

It grows from Nova Scotia to Montana, and south to Florida.

This type of wood has been used to make wagon wheel hubs, wooden barrels, and automobile bodies.

Due to it being such a strong hardwood, it took me nearly 3 weeks to turn into the bowl you see above.
